Volunteer Positions

Administrative/ General Course Volunteer – Help with various administrative tasks. Sign competitors in and out from the competition. Hand out T-shirts and equipment. Take care of your fellow volunteers. Help direct the flow of competitors and provide encouragement.

Sweeper Crew – Follow the competitors on the trail running and hiking portions of the Endeavor Team Challenge. Get a taste of what the competition is all about. These hardy volunteers will traverse the course to ensure all competitors have passed through and nobody is left in need of assistance.

Aid Station Crew – Our participants will be covering over 40 miles of arduous terrain, and we will establish a number of aid stations to provide water, medical supplies, and staging for emergencies. We need volunteers to assist in managing and operating these stations.

Lifeguards – Competitors will swim across lakes and alpine reservoirs.  Lifeguard volunteers will assist our safety team in ensuring that all water crossings are conducted safely will provide assistance to competitors in need.

Safety Kayakers –  Safety kayakers will assist at water crossings and the kayaking lanes to ensure that competitors stay in the designated areas.

Rock Climbing Crew – Assist our professional climbing instructors in belaying, performing gear checks, and serving as safety crews. Rock climbing experience is not required, but some experience may be helpful.

Obstacle Course/ Fitness Judges – Assist in grading competitors. Experience in the military, training, judging, or coaching fitness activities is preferred, but anyone who wants a first hand look at our obstacle course or fitness tests are welcomed.

Photographers – Create lasting memories for competitors by capturing the most epic moments of the Endeavor Team Challenge. Expand your personal photography portfolio and enjoy access to portions of the course off limits to spectators.
