To Endeavor Is To Accept

by Brendon Mahoney on September 12, 2013

Recently my buddy, Brett Scharf, and I competed in the inaugural event of the first ever Endeavor Challenge. Excited and apprehensive at the same time, we didn’t know what to expect. All we knew is that we were in for a physical thrashing…

Endeavor Team Challenge : how to get there.

by David Edney on Wednesday, September 11, 2013

Endeavor Team Challenge.
What a title.
Perseverance, endurance, battling the odds, battling the elements, battling yourself.
Partnership, trust, faith, togetherness, belief
Testing yourself, testing your limits, believing in yourself

All of these synonyms / comparisons I have had hard times believing in, in myself.  I have self esteem issues. by  Steven Martini with Coach Nuno Costa on October 15, 2013

Coach’s Note from Coach Nuno: Steven Martini freaking rocked his challenge! He fully committed himself to training for this event and did everything that I put in front of him. He was the model client – he showed up to all his sessions and he listened to all the advice I gave him in regards to getting himself physically and mentally prepared for his event.  He changed the way he was eating, he lost weight, he gained a new perspective for training…

Race Report for Team #27 – Ryan Ross, Robert Finlay

by Robert Finlay on September 19, 2013

… Preparing for this challenge as it turned out, would be easier said than done. Obstacle courses are something that I, in the Army 30 some years ago, set records on. The same could be said of physical fitness tests. But, that was 30 some years ago. As game time approached and my weaknesses were becoming more and more evident, trepidation crept into my usual over-the-top confidence. From the time I first heard of this event until start time, I had just 35 days to prepare…
